Merchandiser

The merchandiser is the person who manages all of the products that are available for sale in a store. They are responsible for making sure that there is a variety of products and styles to choose from, as well as coordinating with the buyers to make sure that they have enough inventory. The merchandiser also deals with customers, which includes answering questions about products, taking orders and selling merchandise.

Since the merchandiser is responsible for all of the products in a store, this job can be very rewarding in terms of money and personal fulfillment. It can also be stressful because it requires constant attention to detail and constant interaction with customers.

As a job, merchandising is a profession that requires you to be able to work under pressure and have good decision-making skills.

A merchandiser’s job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Setting up the store layout

-Managing inventory

-Planning where and how to display products

-Screening potential buyers for what they would like to buy

-Working with suppliers
