Nursery Nurse

Nursery nurses provide care and support to children in the nursery. They ensure that the children are safe and have everything they need for their day. Nursery nurses also teach children new skills, such as how to use utensils, how to dress themselves, how to play with other children, and how to take care of themselves.

Nursery nurses work in nurseries, schools or preschools. They may work with babies or toddlers who are just starting school or just starting nursery. Nursery nurses may also work with older children who are starting a new school year at nursery school or preschool. Nursery nurses often help prepare the children for bedtime and nap time too.

A nursery nurse is a professional who takes care of newborns, infants, and toddlers in a nursery. Nursery nurses are responsible for the safety and well-being of the children in their care. They also provide emotional support to both children and parents. Nursery nurses work with children from different backgrounds and cultures. They are usually required to have a degree in child development or childcare or nursing.

Nursery nurses help make sure that children are fed, changed, bathed, and put down for sleep at appropriate times.

In India, nursery nurses need to be registered with the Nursing Council (India) before they can practice as such. Nursery nurses need to be qualified graduates from an approved institution or any four-year degree course with a minimum of three years experience working with infants

Nursery nurse is a profession that requires a lot of patience and empathy. Nursery nurses are responsible for taking care of children from birth to five years of age. Nursery nurses are obligated to provide care and support, as well as emotional and physical assistance.

This profession is not easy at all and it requires an extensive training in order to be qualified for the job. Nursery nurses must have formal qualifications in child development, psychology or social work before they can apply for this job.

Nursery nurses should be mature, calm, patient and have an understanding of children’s needs. They should also possess good communication skills in order to effectively communicate with parents and children alike.

Nurseries are generally open Monday- Friday between 8am-6pm and on Saturdays

Nursery nurses are responsible for the care of infants, from birth to one year old. They monitor the children and take care of their needs, like feeding them, bathing them, changing their diapers and putting them to sleep. Nursery nurses also keep a check on the child's growth by weighing them regularly and measuring their height.

Nursery nurses are eligible in India if they have completed 10+2 or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate or with any diploma course in nursing or midwifery. Nursery nurses can work in hospitals, private clinics or even at home if they have a license to do so. The payscale ranges from Rs 12000-24000 per month (approximately) depending on where they work and what kind of experience they have.
