A secretary or personal assistant is a person who provides administrative support to the senior executives in a company, organization, or government department.

A secretary or personal assistant helps the executive with daily tasks, such as scheduling meetings and travel arrangements and answering correspondence. They also maintain the executive's schedule, manage their phone calls, and keep records of conversations.
